HOSA BELAKU ARTISANS FOUNDATION Key Issues and Operational Areas, Major Activiities & Achivements

Operational Districts: Bangalore

Operational States: KARNATAKA

AchieveMents: Hosa Belaku works with rural women artisans with disabilities, sometimes mothers of disabled children, and sometimes, tribal women surviving domestic violence. The organization aims at making them economically independent by working from home locations. With the initiative, about 25 women and their families are getting economically benefitted. They primarily engage in making hand-made products from paper and fabric. Often these paper and fabric raw materials are recycled items.
