AchieveMents: Jan Shikshan Sansthan Adilabad and Institution of Peoples Education was incited and established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development Government of India and functioning under the agies of Social Action for Integrated Development Services a reputed Non Government organization of Adilabad Dist. The Jan Shikshan Sansthan is registered under societies registration act Thirty Five of two thousand one it is an autonomous institution it is having two statutory bodies being and approved by the Ministry of Human Resource Development Government of India. 1 Executive Committee consisting 6 7 dignitaries and empowered to look after all financial matters of the Institution. 2 Board of Management consisting of 15 members with official and eminent non official member empowered to look after all the administrative matters. The main object of JSS is to provide…… i) Provide basic literacy , post literacy and continuing education programmes along with vocational education programmes. ii) Provide Vocational training to illiterate, neo-literates persons, people belonging socio-economically weaker section and disadvantaged groups, youth who have received primary education and school with a view to enabling them to retain and upgare their literacy skills and vocational training provided should result in imparting new skills and enhancing existing skills consequently leading to improved confidence and skill levels among the participants for accessing better employment, self employment and income generation possibilities. Priority is required to be given to women in all programmes conducted by the Jan Shikshsan Sansthans. iii) Ensure that training is provided to a pool of resource persons/master trainers/trainers, who could be invited to conduct trainings for the specific groups of trainees for whom trainings is proposed to be conducted. Achievements From 2010-11onwards JSS is stipulated 14 trades Vocational trainings conducting during the tenure of past 6 years around 14900 illiterate women were trained in deferent trades. Round about 45% of the trained women were established their own entrepreneurs. JSS has provided MUDRA Loans for 428 members.
