AchieveMents: JSS Lakhimpur Kheri (U.P.) is providing vocational training in different trade courses for illiterate, neo-literates and some educated people. The most focused clientele groups is deprived section and marginal group of people who are living under poverty line and are unemployed. The focus has been given always at the women of different categories i.e., S.C., S.T., OBC, Minorities and other deprived sections of society. Mostly JSS Lakhimpur-Kheri provides vocational training programmes in rural areas where the people are unreached to basic immunities and are unemployed. JSS Lakhimpur-Kheri covers its beneficiaries as a clientele group aged between 15-35 years. JSS Lakhimpur-Kheri charges a nominal fee from their trainees which are very low. The vocational training programmes are delivered by the teachers/instructors who are trained and experienced in their skills and techniques. Mostly the instructors and teachers belong to nearby villages and areas where the training programmes are conducted. Before starting the training programme Jan Shikshan Sansthan makes a survey for the recognition of the trade courses in which the training is going to be delivered. Mostly the training trades are fixed by the local people as this is demanded by them. JSS provides training materials to its learners as per their nature of the course of the training and trade courses. After completion of the training programmes JSS conducts examination to their trainees, after passing out of the beneficiaries JSS provide certificates to its beneficiaries.
Other than training programmes JSS provides and conduct awareness activities to their adult learners in each financial year they are, National integration, Celebration of Republic day and Independence Day, Awareness towards environmental protection, anti-dowry, against drug addiction, International Literacy Day, International Women Day, Labour Day, Gandhi Jayanti Matribhasha Diwas etc.
Other than this JSS conducts financial literacy awareness which includes PMJDY, PMSBY, MUDRA Yojana and loan to their beneficiaries for their self reliance. Other than this JSS is conducting legal literacy awareness among adult learners and among its adult beneficiaries.
JSS also delivering training among its four Saansad Adarsh Gram (SAGY) they are Raipur (Block-Nighasan), Dhakhaura (Block-Pasgawan), Kaluamoti (Block-Mohammadi) and Punarbhugrant (Block-Bankeganj). The members of parliament of the above four SAGY villages visits at the training centers and enquires and assess about the training programme being delivered by JSS to adult learners (men and women) at their SAGY villages.
JSS also make literate to adult learners at their training centers and co-operates to Zila Lok Shiksha Samiti (ZLSS) at its all levels i.e., registration of adult learners from adult education center (AEC) and in Saakshar Bharat Exams being conducted twice in a year.
JSS organize Swachhta Pakhwada at all its sub-vocational training centers. All adult learners take part in this Swachhta Pakhwada. Which is the mission and vision of our Prime Minister on priorities basis.
