AchieveMents: Jeevantirth has specialized in developing various methods of innovative learning. After a visit to Jeevantirth in Sept. 2010, Dr. Paul Kim, Chief Technical Officer of School of Education, Stanford University commented – “I strongly believe that many educators around the world should know about your amazing work and learn from you”. As a part of Urban Initiative Jeevantirth is working in RamaPirNo Tekro – the biggest slum of Ahamadabad - and nearby slums for overall inclusive development; focusing on Children-Bal Sanskar Kendras and Girl Child Education, Rag picker women-SHGs, Youths-Youth Empowerment and Elderly people-Satsamg Mandal. Jeevantirth has also started a high quality “Vocational Training Centre” in partnership with Unnati, Bangalore. This centre is providing the poor urban, rural, Dalit, Tribal and OBCs youth intense and comprehensive training of just 70 days to get good jobs in the Corporate Sector. Jeevantirth is actively supporting “Aadi Aushadhi” group of Traditional Healers of Dediapada, Dist. Narmada for their all-round development. Many NGOs in Gujarat take help of Jeevantirth to train their grass root activists.
