AchieveMents: Khajamalai Ladies association was born by the dynamic founder Shreen hasrath seven women established the kla in the year 1977 IT wasfirst startedin small hut in the hamlet called khajmalai ,TrichyKhajamalai Ladies Association is a non profit non governmental organization registered under Tamilnadu state societies reg act no XXI of 1860 in 1978 affiliated to to the all india women conference in 1989 registered as public Trust. aim and objectives implementation of socio economic welfare schemes for the weeker and marginalized groups educating the underprivileged section of society & promoting self employment.Creating awareness and after treatment for degenerative habit and disease like alcoholism HIV/AIDS Activities and services of KLA The KLA well know not only in Trichy District but also in other district for rehabilitation of addiction.The centre was established on 08.10.1988 under the sponsor ship of Ministry of social justice and Empowerment govt in India.The patient who is addicted to substances to bad sober life mode of treatment medical management /Detoxification Psychological Therapy-Re educative lectures Individual Group and family counselling Group family and recreational therapy.Yoga family meditation and other treatment methods depending upon the need of an individual.Self help group like alcoholic anonymous are function to assist each other to help themselves with their during problems. Treatment period is for 21 to 31 days Family counselling The family counselling centre started in October 1986 attached with free legal aid which aided by central social welfare board.New delhi. The centre has primary aim to resotre. harmony of disorganized borken family. Rendered commendable servcies to children women youth aged and any person with problems.FCC provide preventive promote and rehabilitation services to women who are victims of atrocities.
