AchieveMents: Incubation and Commercialization at KLE Technological University. KLE-CTIE – A snapshot of Technology startups on Campus Center for Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CTIE) at BVB though has formally started in February of 2012, entrepreneurial activities on BVB campus dates back to 2006 with the establishment of Sankalp Semiconductors.(2012 Red Herring Listing – ‘Top 100 companies in the World’). Currently CTIE has 38 companies incubate their ideas. Tech start-ups working in the field of Smart drones, Embedded systems, Bio-Technology, IT, ITeS, IT products, Bio-Materials are some of the thrust areas. KLE-CTIE highlights: 1. 38 Tech companies incubating 2. 25% student / Recent graduate start-ups 3. 230+ Jobs created 4. Over 16,000 Sq. ft of floor space given out for Incubation 5. 8 companies have graduated and moved into KLE-Tech Park 6. KLE-Tech park a brand new facility with over 9000sq. ft 7. Two tech companies with valuation of over 100 crores started from this campus
