AchieveMents: Our Activities 1.Development of IECs on child marriage and importance of girl child education. 2.Mass awareness on the problem of child marriage by using IECs, Audio/Video medium and TiE tools on child marriage 3.Data base and trend analysis (3 years) of child marriage across various social groups. 4.Formation of village level child protection committee (VLCPC) by involving PRI representatives, SMCs/PTAs, VHSNCs/ Mata Samiti (ICDS) and strengthen them through regualr meetings 5.Improved school enrolment and retention of girl children in the age group of 12-18 years 6.Regular meetings with SMCs, School Teachers and Principles to motivate them for tracking attendance and retention of girls in schools. 7.Maintain childwise record of girls of 6-18 years and track them for retention. 8.Household visits and meeting with parents parents for motivating them for continuation of girls education. 9.Strengthening of existing children group in coverage area through providing them creative spaces - group meetings, games & sports, TiE, group activities, etc 10.Formation of Adolescent girl groups and its strengthening through monthly meeting & orientation - education, health and hygiene, demerits of early marriage, life skills and career paths, etc. 11.Linking of girl child with Scholarship for SC/Minority children 12.Intervention in child protection cases and issues and also provide safe space for children. 13.Intervention in violence against women cases & issues. Our Achievements 1.We engaged with 9263 children age 0-18 year and also 5072 families. 2. Children group formation 25 and adolescent group formation 19. 3. formation of village wise 19 Jagurk Nagrik Committee . 4. formation of village wise 5 Children Theatre group 5.Knowledge attitude practice on child marriage(KAP study) 6.Develop IECs material on child marriage, Education & Protection-Poster ,pumplates, audio, video. 7.Baal Patrika ââ¬â Aamli ,Photo story Book on Child Marriage . 8.Intervention on Child Protection cases(73) in a year(2016). 9.Establish computer centre and football for adolescent girls and young women. 10.We organise life skill training program. 11.we organise team capacity workshops ââ¬âchild sexual abuse(CSA) , gender & Theatre In Education (TIE), Reproductive health and sexuality , legal workshops, 12. VLCPC formation in 14 Gram Panchayat Kakadi and Panchayat samiti. 13. We organise Child marriage champion for 5 days in every year also children festival and exposure. 14.Enrolled 13 girls in KGBVS.
