Major Activities and Achivements

MUKHRAJ is a self-help organisation whose main aim is to run various programmes for the benefit and rehabilitation of human community through Public awareness and upliftment of public benefit scheme. The organisation is running various programmes this year with the help of public co-operation which are mentioned below :- 1. To control the dreaded disease like AIDS, meetings were held at various places for awareness of general public and far reaching consequences were told for unsafe sex. The camps are being organised for the information and methods to be applied for safe sex and to protect from the AIDS. 2. To control the increasing population, a seminar was organised in which suggestions were given to the public to control the population and to have small families through family planning. "With small family it will help in population control as well as a prosperous family" was the main subject for discussion. 3. To control and treat the leprosy & T. B., necessary suggestions and informations were provided and efforts were made to bring the awareness in general public about Polio Programmes. 4. A camp was organised for the treatment of drug addicts and to bring the awareness regarding the bad effects of drugs usage. 5. A health camp was organised for the benefit of old-aged people. 6. A workshop of intellectuals was organised by the organisation to promote the literacy and a resolution was obtained from them for the public literacy in the neighbourhood and to motivate the public to send their children to School. A resolution was passed for every educated individual to make at least a person literate. 7. An environment awareness programme was organised regarding pollution control and to clean the environment. People were motivated for tree plantation. 8. A consumer awareness camp was organised in which a detailed information about Consumer Protection Act was given. 9. Detailed information regarding scientific farming and irrigation was provided to the farmers and the informations regarding the benefits of growing fruits giving trees and flower giving plants were given to them. 10. A seminar was organised to form the self-help groups in rural areas of the District and the information regarding the benefits of forming self-help groups and self-employment was provided to the general public. 11. An awareness camp was organised for the benefit and rehabilitation of child labourers in which the provisions of legal actions for not freeing the child labourers was provided.
