AchieveMents: Multi-Dimensionally Integrated Resourceful Ark known as MIRA Trust is an Indian development organization committed to addressing on the key issues of Health, Education and inequality among the vulnerable sectors of the functioning terrain. Our aim is to make the individual of the society to recognize ones own sources of energy inherent within and then to leverage the external viable resource to make it as a comprehensive apparatus to thrust towards the social change at micro level within the individual and in society at macro level.
Every success begins with a Small and Sincere steps initiated by a single person who has innermost perseverance on a specific thrust areas to the welfare of the global cause. MIRA is such a single unit established with the vision to Self Recognition is the Stairway for Sovereignty through the constant handholding support of professionals and well-wishers for the development of our society.
Empowering the vulnerable is the eyehole of success for social development. Internalizing the phenomenon the MIRA had charted to work with the following areas of intervention at the field from its launch. Health, Education, Gender equality, Legal Rights, Environment, Life skill, Livelihood, Research, Data collection cum analysis, Technical facilitation services, In and Off campus counseling for students and parents and Networking.
The day today living humanity is encircled with numerous facets of vulnerable segment and to categorize the precise and the highly deserving group from the stacks of population is not so trouble free. Moreover to implement the activities among them requires a great deal of determination and teamwork to taste the outcome of our intervention.
Educational Environment Enrichment centre were established at 3 blocks of Trichy and Pudukottai districts covering 278 rural children of both sex. Youth development initiatives were taken with 1250 College students. Environmental promotional efforts were taken with 1780 school students. NCD camp was organized for the coastal villages and given guidance for further follow ups Legal literacy camps were organized for the rural women and data collection were also done among the gipsy and nomads group in hands with District legal Aid and directed the participants to access the service at the government. In site and off site counseling for the adolescent students of both sex and their parents are given in hands with matriculation schools in Trichy. About 600 rural and 400 urban households had promoted Kitchen garden on free sets of seeds distributed to the woman of each household in Trichy and Pudukottai districts. Networked with Government, Non Government and industrial sectors for the social development on Disaster management and Tuberculosis. Massive women Health awareness created particularly on Breast cancer. Facilitated key subject areas among vulnerable groups of Adolescent girls, Widows and Children.
It is this Milestone of the MIRA on multiple areas of social development projects with the mechanism of numerous hands and minds for their timeless and tireless efforts in planning, organizing and to bring the expected output of these activities at the society, moreover among the vulnerable population.
