AchieveMents: FAMILY COUNSELLING CENTER: - In its continuous efforts of Social Cause, the Family Counseling Center Counsel led 87 cases at Bhadarwah block and also organized awareness generation camps in collaboration with different organization where the women were given different programmes of the govt. schemes and their adaptation.
DISASTER & RELIEF: - The devastated rains, floods caused extensive damage in the J&K State after a gap of 90 years. The damages were so grave that the Landslides lashed at Pancheri block of Udhampur district vanished a village, perished 39 human lives and all other belongings and also all other areas saw Ruth of nature.
The local organizations in collaboration with National/International Voluntary organization not only provided Food, Water, Medicines and Clothing, Shelters and rehabilitated them immediately not to wait for govt. machinery to act.
DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES: - The organization started a trial / demonstration programme at Bhaderwah and Dansal (Jammu) for cultivation and implementation of Aromatic /Medicinal plants on community participation bases in collaboration with the CSIR-IIIM Jammu. Some encouraging results are coming but will wait full growth takes place. The Scientist have developed some species for these regions which when implemented will save the environment in one hand and generate the income thus will boost the economy of the people on the other hand. The initial result shows the tremendous potential in growing these species but will also boost the tourism in the region.
A two days workshop of RuTAG chapter held at University of Jammu sponsored by scientific advisor to Prime Minister, Govt. of India for the Development of Rural Technologies and in its context two of its members were deputed for Sanitary Napkin Technology at GGT-Tamil Nadu for 10 days.
ISRN-National Level body of Voluntarily Organization/ NGOââ¬â¢s has its Two days conference at Goa Sadan, New Delhi and our organisation have the honor to be founder member of it.
J&K IMPA organized Two days workshop at Jammu for the capacity building of the Voluntarily Organization / NGOââ¬â¢s in the field of Disaster management and their rehabilitation.
TRAININGS/PLACEMENTS:- The organization in its social obligation imparted free vocational trainings in various courses in collaboration with JUDA, National Safai Karamcharis Finance and Development Corporation (NSKFDC) and the successful candidates were PROVIDED PLACEMENT IN Govt., PSU, Private Sector and earning handsomely. More than 425 students were benefitted with these schemes in this year.
