AchieveMents: Rural India Medical and Relief Society, Palamaner has shown very good improvement in all spears of Rehabilitation Management ie., Survey, Identification, Training and Welfare Activities for the benefit of Mentally challenged children. The programmes of Awareness for taken into the Rural Areas and the parents were motivated to send their children to the Special School for MR. The Village Heads, Anganwadi Teachers, A.N.Ms. were involved in the awareness programmes and target population were sensitized about the evils of Marriages between blood relations and regular antenatal checkups for the safe delivery. Special care was taken for counseling the pregnant woman with back ground of marriage with blood relations.
