AchieveMents: Two medicines Sulphur and Merc.sol identified for the treatment of Paucibacillary and Multibacillary cases of leprosy respectively have been found potential to reverse the loss of sensation and loss of normal skin colour of the lesion in addition to their bactericidal action. Histopathological and immunological evidences also have reaffirmed the findings claimed in clinical trials. This single remedy in homoeopathy employed in the treatment of MB leprosy has been proved effective.
