AchieveMents: Since 2007 Tara Mobile Crèches Pune has been providing childcare and health services to children at construction sites in Pune. TMCP has focused its energies into working closely with the children and communities on Construction Sites and building partnerships with real estate developers for operating day care centre/crèches at their construction sites. The organisation has evolved its programs over the two decades and has deeper connections with its parent organisations Mobile Crèches Delhi and Mumbai Mobile Crèches. In Pune and PCMC area Tara Mobile Crèches has around 18 Day Care Centres that covers the age group 0 to 14 years. At TMCP centres we strive to create opportunities for children at construction sites so that they can develop at their own pace and environment safely. With an aim to create a caring and nurturing environment for marginalised children to become competent and confident individuals, TMCP program is integrated in four verticals: Health, Nutrition, Education and Recreation. The interventions over the decades in these verticals have been developed in taking initiatives like: • Saksham : To enhance Children’s Participation in the process of their development • Sangopan: To promote home based and centre based intervention to ensure holistic development of children aged between 0 to 3 years. • Samarthan: To Empower Youth and migrant communities to ensure development of the children at the construction sites. • Hostel and Computer Leaning: With an aim to provide interventions that helps children to continue with their education With collaboration and active networks TMCP is been successfully able to bring the desired outcomes in the lives of migrant children.
