The centre started various branches of Indian Classical music and dance. The grant received from the Ministry was spent for conducting the music classes. Although the grant amount for the teachers was not enough but we also try to do our best to pay the teachers according to their qualification and experience. At present we have more than 50 students. Sometimes the strength of the students goes down and sometimes the strength of students goes up depending on the school timings and session.

In the absence of having the Salary grant we are managing our classes under extreme difficulties. Sometimes the teachers are voluntarily helping us to carry on the regular classes. Inspite of such difficulties we are still anxiously awaiting for the grant with expectation for the year 2015-16 which is yet to be received from Ministry of Culture.
