AchieveMents: • Women empowerment • Child rights and Education • Natural resource development & management [Watershed, organic farming, non-conventional energy] • Livelihood Promotion • Strengthening, capacity building to SHGs / CBOs • Consultancy services  Vikasana has trained more than 4000 women members of SHGs & they engaged in self employment activities like Dairy, Petty business, vegetable cultivation etc.  More than 350 women are trained & placed paper craft work in Mandya & Malavalli Taluk.  Totally 80 women were trained on Banana Fibre activities & 60 are engaged in production activities.  Vikasana is working as project support agency under NRLM for Mandya District & 2 taluks of Ramanagara District & 1 taluk of Kodagu District. During 2014-15 5200 youths are counseled, organized them in 662 joint liability groups (JLGs) facilitated them to get bank loan of Rs.26 crores. We are extending our handholding services to them & during 2015-16 we counseled more than 7000 youths & organizing them in joint liability groups.  Vikasana promoted more than 3000 SHGs, 6 federations. The 83 women members of 14 SHGs of Mandya city slums building their own extension. They purchased 3.05 Acres of land & layout is approved by MUDA (Mandya Urban Development Authority]. The Rajeev Gandhi housing corporation approved grants of Rs. 1,20,000/- per house, Totally of Rs. 99,60,000/. Vikasana is facilitating to build this extension (self help village). The full venture is demonstrating by women group.
