AchieveMents: All India central govt pensioners association is the oldest established in oct 1947 and one of the fortythree identified associations by DOPPW. The activities during 2015-2016 are as follows. 1 Publishing quarterly bulletin. We publish quarterly bulleting giving the information about latest govt.orders illustrations on pensionery benefits activities of the association etc.As we have branches in all districts of Maharashtra we publish the brief and illesturtions in marathi. Our bulletin for january 2016 covering highlights,all important paras of 7th CPC recommendations along with illestrutions and special issue in Aug 2016 giving orders of revision of pension by DOPPW and illustrations and also DOTS orders in respect of 78.2IDA for BSNL Pensioners were appreciated by our members and other associations. 2 Participation in the campaign launched by Govt. This year we have given wide publicity of Govt decision to link Adhaar Iendification for submission of digital life certificate and special campaign of adhar card seeding and registration by bankis during 30 May-10th June 2016. We participated in the Swachh Bharat pakhawada during May 16-31.2016 launched by DOPPW by taking oath in AGMS Meeting of the branches and appealed members for participating in the swachhata abhiyan by various agencies 3. Counseling at AGM at district leval. Office bearers represent the Hq in the AGM.We address the members not only latest govt orders,pensioners benefits but also appeal them to participate in the activities for the cause of senior citizens as social responsibilities. 4 Arranging gettogether for counselling newly retired and old pensioners.This year we arranged BSNL Day Mela on 1st oct Snehamelawa for postal pensioners on 18th november , Rms pensioners on 17th Dec 2015 Gettogether for income tax pensioners on 18th Jan2016 ,Anand melawa for Telecom pensioners on 28th Jan 2016 .We address the gathering about the govt latest orders, pensioners benefit, satisfy their queries on spot. We also talk on how to lead active life after retirement by particip-ating in activities of the association. 5 Solving the complaints of the pensioners. We solved nearly 250 long pending complaints of the pensioners interacting with pension sanctioning ,PPO issuing or disbursing authorities.We arrange periodical meetings with the concerned authorieis and discussed the computerisation of pensioners record, delay in revised ppos and authorisitation of family pension in case of 2nd family memers.We also requested to hold pension adalat. 5. Social responsi bility. We donated rs 25,000 thousand for PM Relief fund Rs. 50,000 for Maharashtra Chief Minister relief fund and Rs 1,00,000 for NGOS to work for relief/welfare of poor,rural and downtrodden in the sociaty.
