AchieveMents: Apeksha homoeo Society was established in 1980 and has its headquarter at gurukunj mozari and branch offices at teosa, Chandur Rly, Dharni and Murtizapur.It also has a resource and training center at Mozari. The organisation key areas of work are 1. Livelihood Developement 2. Helping farmers and thier families in distress 3. empowering women financially and socially formation and linkages of SHGs 4. Micro financeing 5. Housing 6. Reproductive child health 7. Eradication of child labour and retaining in school 8. Advocacy Year round programmes- 1. Life skill for adolescents - The organisation promotes life skill in Ashram school in dharni tribal block through which the children are equipped with skills and abilities to make informed choices and take charge of thier lives. The major topics covered are Personal hygiene, Environmental awareness, Responsible parenthood, HIV AIDs and gender awareness. 2. Eradication of child labour through education - Due to socio economic condition of the dperived community children they are taken undue advantage by some persons. these children work as cheap labour force in hotels, household agricultural fields and hazardous industries. The organisation address the following issues through education * Providing access to school * Advocating for quality education * Enrollemnt and retention of children * Motivating children to attend school 3. Empowering women through SHGs - With the support of NABARD the organisation is promoting ad linking 150 SHGs 4. Micro finance -In order to improve the financial condition of the weaker section of the society the organisation disburses loan to SHGs and JLGs. Uptil june 2008 total 526 JLGs have been disbursed soft loans. 5. Mother and Child Health - RCH II The organisation is a mother NGO and works for improving the health status of mother and child from the underserved area Dharni which is a tribal block with the support of 3 FNGOs 6. Housing - AHS with the support of Habitat for Humanity provides support for construction and renovation of houses. Till date 728 houses have been constructed from Chandur Rly, Teosa, Achalpur and Nangaon blocks of Amaravati District
