Bakdil appeal to many agencies seeking assistance for the affected families in the Year of Mercy.
NABARDCentral2015-20166695013Integrated Tribal Development Programme (ITDP) is funded by NABARD under Tribal Development Fund (TDF) and is being implemented by Bakdil at Zikzak Block, South West Garo Hills District, Meghalaya with the aim to promote sustainable participatory livelihood in tribal predominant areas integrating both environment and social aspects. This project was sanctioned in 2015 for development of 500 acres for Horticultural plantation where each participatory tribal family is supported for plantation.
Primary Health CentresState2017-201812000000Dysfunctional Primary Health Centres in remote areas in Garo Hills had been identified for Public Private Partnership in 2008. Accordingly BAKDIL had applied and was short-listed as one of the agencies to implement the programmes. These include Gabil and Wageasi then in East Garo Hills district but now in North Garo Hills district, Siju in South Garo Hills District and Babadam and Salmanpara both in West Garo Hills then but now Salmnapra is in South West Garo Hills District.
