AchieveMents: Mobilized 450 women Self Help Groups SHGs in 78 villages 16 grass root level federations 2 taluk federations More than 4 500 women engaged in I G Activities through internal loan and bank loan With the support of Donor agencies over 2 000 houses were built for Dalits and marginalized families in Raichur Bellary and Koppal districts More than 1250 Janatha Ashraya houses road construction repair in 56 villages public sanitation facility to 52 villages and 310 drinking water structures availed 41 different types of Govt facilities like houses drinking water roads street lights etc availed by SHGs from Government worth Rs 12 crores 48 women from SHGs elected for Gram panchayaths Created awareness on HIV AIDS in 126 villages of Bellary Raichur and Koppal districts 285 HIV infected adults 189 HIV infected children 313 STI RTI cases and 148 TB patients were identified and provided care & support 85% of STI RTI cases and 148 TB patients were treated and cured The PLHIVs and CLHIVs health status improved and helped to lead a normal life 26 VHSCs formed and strengthened to take up the Health issues especially of HIV AIDS 162 PLHIVs linked to District Positives Network 32 PLHIVs are promoted as Positive speakers 15 HIV infected children were transitioned to CLHIVs care homes Communities were helped and trained on Watershed management and methods of soil and water conservation over 75 villages Two check dams were built with people’s participation 17 percolation ponds are built for the community with people participation A village tank was desilted Field bunds are laid in more than 3200 acres of agricultural land 300 youths girls & boys were given skill training through Vocational courses and were helped to be self employed and get employment in well known and leading companies garments Hospitals & Factories Through Rainwater harvesting structures 317000 litrs of potable water is available for more than 2000 school boarding home children During summer there will not be water scarcity During flood 5 temporary shelters were provided to flood victims distributed food grains and cooking vessales and clothes to 1067 families of Bellary Raichur and Koppal districts constructed 80 group houses in 3 villages of Raichur district 50 families were helped with building materials to repair reconstruct their houses in Bellary Through CHILDLINE programme we could reach out to school and college children slum dwellers drivers shop owners general public by awareness Outreach programmes provided Shelter through CWC to children child marriages were stopped child laboure were admitted to school In 4 villages the RO water purification plants are installed and the village community especially the poor and marginalised families are getting the safe and sufficient drinking water in these villages
