AchieveMents: AXSHAYA PROJECT (UNDER CATHOLIC HEALTH ASSOCIATION OF INDIA) ââ¬â this project is focused primarily on creating awareness on Tuberculosis. We have been working on this project continuously for the last five years, across various blocks of Ranchi district. Under this we organize GKS meeting, Mid-Media programme, door to door survey and other activities to create awareness. Last year itself we organized 45 GKS meetings, covered approx 7000 households, and checked for 300 cases showing symptoms of TB and diagnosed 25 cases that are currently put on the DOTs programme.
FINANCIAL INCLUSION PROGRAMME (UNDER NABARD) ââ¬â under this programme we work on creating awareness on the facilities provided by the banks to the villages living in the remote areas who donââ¬â¢t have direct access to banking facilities through street plays, wall writing and various other platforms. We have approximately covered around 1000 villages in the last two years linking around 22000 people with the banking facility.
SHG FORMATION AND MOBILISATION (UNDER NABARD) ââ¬â in this programme we create several groups of women to make them self dependent and to earn for themselves. So far we have created 74 groups and provided them training for self employment and few of them have even been provided loans from the banks to start their own work.
PANCHAYATI RAJ INCLUSION CAMP (UNDER NABARD) ââ¬â this project focuses on creating awareness and providing knowledge to the head of the villages so that they can work for the growth of their respective villages.
SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME (UNDER DEPARTMENT OF LABOU, TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT, GOVERNMENT OF JHARKHAND) ââ¬â under this programme we provided training and knowledge to the women under vocational training programme sot that they can be self dependent.
