AchieveMents: Have conducted orientation cum training programme on Gender Mainstreaming in Disaster Management for district level officers for all eight project district of Uttarakhand. June, 2009, DMMC, Dehradun. Have conducted a study on “Gender Mainstreaming and Disaster Management”. Prime responsibility under this project is to produce a quantitatively analyzed report to achieve the objectives. Study was based on primary data, collected through the structured interview schedule from identified villages of all over Uttarakhand. 2008-09, DMMC, Dehradun Have conducted a field based study covering disaster effected population-women’s to drawn out some practical suggestion to mainstreaming gender sensitive approach in disaster management. Continue from 2007, LIC & BINDU Society, Women Development Data Bank : This report analyzes sex-disaggregated data and prepares indices as a reference guide to policy makers, social development practitioners and institutions that are concerned with the status of women development in Uttarakhand. The Status report is organized into seven chapters, each chapter represents a major theme on the basis of which indicators are grouped.
