SOCIAL WELFARE DEPARTMENTState2016-201775The main objective of this project was to spread awareness about the third gender community in the general public. The Tritya ling Jagrukgta Karyakram was organized by mitwa sankalp samiti with Samaaj Kalyaan Vibhaag. The event took place in 13 colleges in Raipur. Through these programs, the panel enabled the audience to be sensitized towards the challenges faced by the trans gender community.Due to these sessions, people developed a positive outlook towards the TG community.

Mitwa created teacher trainer module to create awareness and bust the myths on TG community. The document was developed after 3-day detailed meeting with different teachers. The module was named Abhivyakti meaning expression Mitwa organize skill development training to Transgender community under its skill development programme. It was a rigorous 3 to 6-month residential programme.
SOCIAL WELFARE DEPARTMENTState2018-2019150Coaching facility was provided to the candidates passing in the Physical Examination of the Police. It was appointed to teach good teachers. LGBT make people positive towards the LGBT committee. There were 50 people from all over the District. Awareness work was done this year through the purpose of book writing, cultural program and pride march. Book writing work was done by Mitwa Committee fund from Social Welfare. So that everyone can access the information of the third gender community.

The objective of the HIV awareness event2019 was to end the discrimination against HIV amongst people. An awareness rally pulled the crowd and the attention from the medical nursing college. Students and community from TG joined the rally.
