Community Development Centre Key Issues and Operational Areas, Major Activiities & Achivements

AchieveMents: CDC has been working on women child and youth development since its establishment. We have been worked with CARE India on implementation of unique project INHP, The state Govt. of MP adopted few best practices of our project and now replicating in other districts. We are working on community health through strengthening the local self governance, we have formed more VHSC in 20 villages and these are functioning well. A women SHG federation also formed by the organization, there are more than 1500 women members trying to improve their own livelihood through small small initiatives. Presently we are working on HIV AIDS issue with female sex worker. Organization running a small school for providing value education in the tribal area of Balaghat district. Organzation focusing on global warming issue and implementing a project in protected forest area with the support of WWF. Through the PACS programme we have empowered women nicely and functionaly educated them to be able to access the Govt. development programme and plan.
