AchieveMents: Organisation plays an important role in implementation of Building and Other Construction Workers Act, 1996 in Odisha. Federation of Construction workers has taken charge to sphere head the social security campaign process in the state. Member workers started bargaining with contractors on minimum wages, equal wages and workplace safety and security. Registered workers at the workers committees started taking benefits from District labour Office on their own.
