AchieveMents: `Dharithree’ Mother Earth One who endures and cares for her children to the ultimate. We at Dharithree have the same objective-caring for the disabled when they need most and bring about a qualitative change in the lives of mentally and multiply challenged propel. The trust is the outcome of strong desire and appeal of the parents. We try to provide solace and peaceful atmosphere to the parents for their concern and agony about the future of their children in their absence or inability to manage them. Dharithree started in 2003 with 3 children now has 200 children in 4 day care centers and 1 residential home availing all the facilities for a total development from early intervention to rehabilitation with a holistic approach. Within a short span of 13 Years Dharithree has been able to march ahead in facilitating the children behind its capacity. The bird’s eye views of our achievements are • Received National award as Best Intuition by National Trust 2014-15 under ministry of social justice and empowerment govt of India. • Awarded as Best Intuition by govt of Karnataka – Child and Women welfare ministry. • We are registered under FCRA and eligible to receive forging funds -under ministry of home affairs. • We have facility of 35AC under income tax department – govt of India minister of finance. • Vocational training in ecofriendly and rural based programs to make them productive, self dependent and respectable citizens. Dairy, farming, envelops making, candle, phenyl and soap oil manufacturing are taught in this section. We are also training them in Indian breed cow based products like Dantha manjan, Dhoop and Gou muthra arkha. • Our therapeutic services include dance and music therapy, magnetic and acculaser therapy, yoga and pyramid therapy apart from physio and speech therapy. • Our main project site is spread out in 5.1/2 Accor land in saran atmosphere to suit for the development of special need children without hurdles and obstacles for the free movements. • We have 55 staff with commitment and dedication consisting special educators, psychiatrists, therapist and assistants. • Research and development program to prevent disability, resource and information centre for parents and teachers with all information under one umbrella. • Teachers training program, parent counseling and guidance to start special schools and reach the unreached areas. • `Aasara’ a home away from home for special need children to provide total care, love and protection.
