AchieveMents: 1.Dnyanadevi has Developed a child centred community development model called Gammat Shala for underprivileged communities in slums that has by removing their inferiority complexes successfully since inception in 1983 given results in terms of 0 school wastage, 0 child labor, child marriage, juvenile delinquency; 100% school completion with most children completing graduation . The positive citizenship values remain permanently 2. The Gammat shala model has successfully been used for rehabilitation of juvenile offenders, deaddiction of platform children and child labor prevention . 3. Childline rescues and rehabilitates thousands of children 24 hoursand empowers children to prevent abuse. 4. Balsena- a unique first in the world peer support cum leadership development programme in schools, shelters and nfe centres have empowered children in voicing and themselves resolving personal, school related, city related problems and analyse those of the nation. 4. Anti child marriage, anti child labour, and anti child abuse campaigns conducts sensitization programmes for parents, teachers, community groups, shelter home care takers, police, govt. officials, children, etc 5. Dnyana Devi conducts childrens drama and dance competitions each year that have produced writers, directors, actors of national repute. Hundreds of plays on childrens issues have been produced. 6. Abhimanyu project a theatre and Gammat Shala based project for juvenile offenders in juvenile homes; 7. 23 books for children and teachers- parents on childrens education including a manual on sex education have been produced. 8.Dnyana Devi and its director Dr. Sahasrabudhe is a referral point fo rmedia on childrens issues.
