German Toilet OrganisationOverseas2013-20141506132providing Urine Diversion Dry Toilets(UDDTs) to households of a hamlet named Darewadi in Garade village, located off Khed-Shivapur road, about 32km south of Pune since the village was witness to rampant open defecation and water scarcity among other issues. The UDDT’s are excellent models of environmental sustainability, using minimum water and provides options for reuse of faeces and urine as fertilizers for the farms.
