AchieveMents: The EKTA Foundation has made a significant commitment to womens health in the United States as a benefactor contributor to the Barbra Streisand Womens Heart Center at Cedars Sinai Hospital in California. Heart disease kills more women than men every year in the US. An underlying cause is that until recently their treatment was based on medical research performed on male subjects.
