Grant recieved from kerk and Actie of The Netherlands for capacity building of the women federation of the two identified districts of Assam through training, workshop and seminar. Research was conducted and Documentary on the present situation of the nutrition status was done. A high powered Multi Actor Committee was formed with the Experts of Unicef, other Government bodies monitored the programme. State level meetings were held at Guwahati and Ranchi and National level meeting at Delhi.

AchieveMents: Gharoa is working on Environment conservation and education among the students of schools and planted 3 lakhs of saplings during 20 years. It has facilitated formation of 200 plus SHGs in Lumding and N.C.Hills and linked them with the nationalized banks. It has worked with NABARD. Since 2010 we are working as Targeted Intervention on HIV-IDU at Nagaon and Lumding. We are working on Transgender and Migrants on HIV. Women empowerment and working against domestic violence. This organization is also working on Forum to engage men. We have been working on tribal development in the two hills districts.
