With the help of fund given by CSR ONGC, NGO was able to setup an food processing centre to help poor farmers with empowerment by using the raw material in making jelly, jam, juice which they later on sold in the market to earn money. This skill development practice helped farmers in utilizing the self grown raw material in more effective way.

AchieveMents: Our NGO Gramin Mahila Swasthya Chetna Evam Swarojgar Vikas Samiti Purola Uttarkashi, received first prize from NABARD for making SHGs and helping rural people in empowerment. NGO was also honored by Jal Sansthan for doing well in water Sanitation Program. GBPIHED also supported NGO for planting trees and providing minor work and empowerment to the people. NGO has worked in many fields including plantation of trees, Panchayati Raj, Food Processing, etc.
