The Society is applying for Grant from NEC, Shillong, GoI for setting up a Pig Breeding Farm at Peren Town and the case is under process. The proposed project, apart from income generation for farmers, envisages to provide employment and earnings to endearing unemployed youths who can assist in running the project. It will be a model of âsustenance and sufficiencyâ to meet the Pork consumption need of the local populace and create entrepreneurial opportunities for unemployed youths.
