Inner Eye Foundation Key Issues and Operational Areas, Major Activiities & Achivements

AchieveMents: Since the establishment of the Inner Eye Foundation, the recognized missions have been pursued in the effective manner to supply the services for the target people towards under privileged people in the society. To achieve the soul purpose of the Foundation, the missions are being carried out to provide humanitarian assistance for the under privileged people especially poor and parent less children, women and old age people, the followings are its activities or programmes since May, 2016, on Livlihood, Education, Healcare and Disaster Relief Operation. Food Programme Under the Livelihood Mission, this programme is established to supply food accessories or commodities to the poor family which is lack of significant family income to survive day to day life. Till date, two individual families have been benefited from this Programme for short periods by receiving rice, oil, wheat and other commodities. Educational Programme The aims of the programme, under the Education Mission, to recognize poor school children in government schools and other organization in which children are accommodated for education to encourage them to travel to school buildings. 1. The Inner Eye recognized and provided its assistance to the Karnataka Welfare Association for Blind, Bangalore by providing Braille writing and reading sheet for those 112 children for 4 months with addition of medicines for 1 month under Health Mission. 2. It is providing continuous support for the TA Higher Primary School, Subedar Palya, Yeshwanthpur for those poor students supplying study materials, tools, school uniform. 3. The 36 orphan children in the Sadhana Education and Charitable Trust, Triveni Road, Yeshwanthpur have been distributed school uniforms under the Education and Cloth programme as it is our partial support for them. 4. The Ariviyal Solai Innovation Society, Bangalore has received contribution to conduct the Ariviyal Solai Science Career 2016 in the month of September at the Americal College, Madurai. 5. On 20th, December, 2016, the one day conference the Science and Technology Conference 2016 was organized by the Sacred Heart College, Tirupattur, Tamil Nadu State with the organization support of the Inner Eye Foundation, Tamil Nadu Science and Technology Centre, Government of Tamil Nadu and Rotary Club, Tirupattur, for the rural college students in the domain of Science. Cloth Bank and Distribution Programme On 22nd October, 2016, the Inner Eye conducted the programme of Cloth Bank and Distribution for poor people to supply used cloths. From this program, more than 25 families have been benefited. Programme on Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting Under the Disaster Relief Operation, the team of the DRO attended the 3 Days Training Programme on Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting, from 05.12.2016 to 07.12.2016, which was given by the RA Mundkur Fire Emergency Service Academy, Bangalore. The purpose of the programme to train our team member i.e. how to provide our service for the people on the emergency site when they meet natural calamities and disaster.
