AchieveMents: Promoting sustainable agriculture of the 15 tribal village of Jaintia hills.First of all through the intervention of People-led development many problems which existed in the villages such Drinking water for the villagers and sanitation and health care were no body’s responsibility. After the formation of the farmers clubs, the members clubs took initiative to bring to the notice of the village community and identified their problems and their difficulties by conducting the meetings and decided the necessity of solving these problems with the guidance of our animators.The PLDA has helped the community to have a collective decision making of the people happened in other villages, as for instance, the problem of land conflict between Mooshot village and Saba village where crops of 67 families was destroyed by Saba people. In this situation, through the initiative of Mooshort FC, they organized a fund raising day whereby amount of 60,000 rupees was collected and distributes to 67 households to buy new seeds, and the people collectively came to replant the crops. Emergency assistance for children in need of care and protection through Childline Jowai was also another major achievement in these past 5 years
