AchieveMents: Jan Shikshan Sansthan, Agartala, West Tripura is conceived as an Institute for conducting Skill Upgradation in the areas of programmes of Non formal an adult Vocational Training purpose. It also provides technical resource support to Paschim zilla Shaksharata Samity( West Tripura District) in both urban and rural areas.We are providing polivalent approach to provide knowledge and skills in an integrated manner based on DAE , NIFT, NIOS, MES curriculum. Our programmes are 1. Diversified

Life Enrichment Education.As there is no JSS in Dhalai District, and as desired by DM & Collector of Dhalai District to conduct ââ¬ÅSkill Development training programmeââ¬Â under SAAKSHAR BHARAT MISSION-2013 with immediate effect. JSS,Agartala, West Tripura (under DAE,MHRD,GOI) ready to conduct above mentioned programme and accordingly impart Capacity Building Programme under different trades for Master Trainers. JSS, Agartala, West Tripura wish to conduct the total programme in co-ordination with Dhalai District Administration and SLMA.
Based on the experience and problems faced in carrying out day to day work, we may indicate the required areas which are essential to overcome. The required areas :-
(1) Motivational Skills (2) Communication Skills
(3) Team Building (4) Record Maintenance
(5) Accounts Management (6) Resource Management and
(7) Infrastructure Management
Since 2004, upto 31st March 2016 we have certified 17,361 beneficiaries under various trades. Simultaneously we are conducting activity programme based on the activity list proposed by NLMA. Also we are conducting 4 nos. Capacity Building Programmes in each and every year two for Master Trainer and 2 for staffs to give the exposers and know how about the latest trends achievements and ammendments in the area of Technical knowledge by outsourcing and outside the Campus entrusted to a reputed Central/ State training Institute for eg. State Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development.Moreover on the request of Zilla Shaksharata Samity under West Tripura 9 Block Development Officers placed demand and requisitionto conduct Vocational Training programmes in the blocks as decided by the District Magistrate and collector being the Chairperson of West zilla Shaksharata Samity and accordingly we are implementing upto their total satisfaction.After each and every three years JSS is evaluated by MHRD, GOI through third party Evaluation.According to last Evaluation held conducted by CYSD, Bhubaneswar, JSS , Agartala, West Tripura stood 4th position securing 76% marks among 271 JSS all over the India.Being a C Category JSS our Annual financial turnover is approximately 50 lakhs per year.
We are also campainging help to get enroll the beneficiaries for PMJBY , PMSBYetc schemes. Many of our beneficiaries got loan from Mudra Bank, and other financial Institutions in each and every year.We also campaign for Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan.
