AchieveMents: In the year 2015-16 JSS, Dhenkanal has trained 1397 nos. of beneficiaries in 70 batches under 11 different Programmes out of the above beneficiaries the Male, Female, SC, ST, OBC, Minorities, Other, Non-literate, Neo-literate & Rudimentary Level of Education coverage was 579(41.45%), 818 (58.55%), 426(30.49%), 282 (20.19%), 298 (21.33%), 93 (6.66%),298(21.33%), 215(15.39%) & 585(41.88%) and 597 (42.73%) respectively. Notable work in the field of Adult Education, literacy, general education/awareness and skill development. • A total 11 skill development courses/income generation programme benefiting 1397 people mostly women belonging to the deprived sectors of the society were conducted.Some of the beneficiaries are self employed by setting up their own units/workshops at various places of the district financed by S.HGs,Banks and other private persons earning Rs.5,000.00 to Rs.10,000.00 per month . • After completion of the Training Programmes like Maintenance and Repairs of Automobiles-Two Wheeler-Module I, TV Mechanism Module II , Cutting & Tailoring Module I, Plumber (NIOS-NSQF Level-3), Screen printing, Basic Electricity Electronics & House Wiring (Mod I), Leaf Plate and Cup Making, Embroidery-Module III, Fruit and Vegetable Processing and Preservation, Soft Toy Making-Module II, Handicrafts- Applique and Patch Work, in Kanteikolia,Govindpur,KhamaraSahi(DhenkanalSadar), Paneilo,Kumardeipur, JSS Campus, Keseria,Siminai,Santhapur,Haladikundi,Besalia,Dhanasendhakateni & Sankulei respectively 53 beneficiaries has opened their own workshops and 32 beneficiaries has been engaged in different showrooms earning up to 4,000/- to 8,000/- per month and maintaing their family happily. • In the same way another innovative step of JSS is working for the distressed, oppressed and harassed ladies by providing them the training of Cutting, Tailoring Mod-I at Paneilo, Soft Toys Making Module II at Indipur, Handicrafts-Applique and Patch Work at Sankulei, Fruit and Vegetable Processing and Preservation at Besalia 23 ladies earned up to 4,500/- to 6,000/- per month with their combined effort in their same trade. • JSS, Dhenkanal has already taken steps for revival of 19 nos. of SHGs and formed 12 nos. new SHGs and provide them training to its members in Toy making (Clay) Module IV, Soft Toys Making Module II, Fruit and Vegetable Processing and Preservation Cutting, Tailoring & Dress Making. • During the year 2015-16 Total No. of beneficiaries enrolled under Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojna (PMSBY) is 3909. • During the year 2015-16 the total nos. of beneficiaries applied for Pradhan mantri Mudra Loan is 32.But only 17 nos. has got PMMY Loan yet.The PMMY Loan of others are in progress.
