AchieveMents: 1.Did notable work in the field of Adult education/literacy, general education/awareness &skill development 2. Conducting of a total of 5608 Vocational Courses benefitting 1,40,153 people mostly women belonging to the deprived sections of the society enabling them either to take up self-employment or wage employment 3.Did pioneering work in the areas of child labour eradication and rehabilitation, protection of child rights & Universalisation of Elementary Education resulting in main streaming more than 20,000 child labour with formal education system
4.played a pivotal role in empowering the urban women by organising women slum dwellers, formation of Self-help Groups, capacity building and orientation of these self-help Groups on social sectoral goals under Convergent Community Action 5.Formed considerable no.of Thrift Co-operatives, Joint Farming Societies, Quarry Workers co-operatives,MACS and other CBOs
6. Took up land development programmes 7.Made substantial contribution in the field of building awareness among the masses through kaka jathas by JSS Shramik Chaitanya Kala sena
8. Forged effective collaboration with various departments of both state and central Goverments, local Self Government bodies, NGOs, Public and private enterprises, charitable trusts, UN Bodies and a host of other CBOs.
9. Did substantial work in the fields of Protection of Scheduled castes rights, prevention of atrocities on women , release and rehabilitation of Bonded labour
10. Implemented JSS programmes in the neighbouring Mahboob Nagar District during the years 2004-05 and 2005-06 as entrusted by MHRD
11. Adoption and implementation of all round development project in Manchal Mandal of the District
12. Allotment of 505 sq yards of land in Kukatpally by AP Housing Board
13. Privileged to be the Lead JSS for the JSSs of AP and Director being the member of various State and National level Committees on Child Rights Convention, State Advisory board on child Labour, District Vilgilance and Enforcement Committees on Bonded Labour& child labour& prevention of atrocities on SCs, supervision & Monitoring Officer and Guidance officer for a few JSSs of AP and Orissa States
14 . Actively associated /participated in various Programmes of the Government such as PM SAGY, PMJDY, PMSBY , Swachh Bharath etc.
15.The Evaluations conducted by IIM, Bangalore and Council for Social Development (CSD) ranked the performance of JSS under ââ¬ÅVery Goodââ¬Â category.
