AchieveMents: ACHIEVEMENTS: Jana Chetana working since 1984 and had some mile stones: 1 Establishment of bilingual schools in Chintada, Soyalaguda and Eethamanugada in the year 1993 and subsequently in Palakonda in 2000. 2 Publication of bilingual books Savara Basha Anuppol Akambhol, Savara Vignan Akambol, Savara Parpol kinkinna Akambol, Telugu Savara Basha padakosam, Savara Children Stores and songs. 3 Minimization of alcoholic drinking habits in the people of Eethamanugada, Jakkaravalasa ad Seethampeta Mandal. 4 Few publications on the Tribal Forest Rights – Historical review of 5th Schedule. 5 Under Non-Formal Education, 245 Students in the age group of 9 to 16 years comprising of SC, ST and mostly of BCs were imparted of primary education. 6 Bridge course camps with Child Assembly Introducing Child Rights. 7 Under the Sustainable Development, the check dams were constructed, wells dug, land reclaimed. 8 To drive home the importance of environmental protection, Kala Jatharas and cycle yathra through the tribal belt from Haddubangi to Hyderabad were undertaken and promoted Village Vana Samrakshana Samitis in 21 villages. Manya Pranta Chaitanya Yathra (Pathapatnam to Polavaram) towards Dandakaranya. Awareness and trainings on Environmental to students and Teachers under EESAP programme. 9 Organized the legal awareness camps. 10 Atrocities on women, children and dalits were addressed. The atrocity in Gurandi village in the Year 1998 was prominent among them. Gurandi and Kummarigandi Villages
