The project was the follow up of the National Innovation Survey (NIS) undertaken by Department of Science and Technology. As follow up, the project was supposed to undertake case studies of about 130 firms at different levels of innovativeness identified in NIS for understanding the practices of the firms for promotion of enterprise level innovations.
