I have made various efforts to preserve and promote Endangered Instruments of India and have been supported in this cause by Hon. Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam,Shri Naushad Ali. A three-day festival, Parampara, presented Indian Classical music in a way which is more appealing to the younger generation and the modern day audience. I tried to promote the endangered instruments and styles of performing by giving a platform to the very few artistes who play them.

A total of seven Yaad e Bismillahs were held at CCI Mumbai, Ghadge Hall Lucknow, Raj Bhawan Lucknow, Nehru Centre Mumbai, Poona Club Pune, Taj Falaknuma Palace Hyderabad, Karnavati Club Ahmedabad to celebrate the shehnai legends genius which included screening of the film on his life, shehnai recitals etc
