AchieveMents: It gives us immense pleasure to share the activities and achievement of Mahila Samagra Utthan Samiti, Daltonganj. This organization has been working since 1990 at different aspect like as Water & Land management, Health & Welfare Sector, Education & Women Empowerment with primary infrastructure of development in rural sector of Palamau district at different blocks at the end of last year the organization is helping to SC, ST especially tribal women by the formation of SHG’s, WSHG’s by the using different programme of government of State & Central to income generation, capacity building, watershed, agriculture & husbandry & awareness programme on account of different attitude. The organization have been formed 168 SHG’s with 1733 members. Out of 91 SHG’s linkage with the banking facilities & connects with income generation by vegetable production. The MSUS helping in market linkage to SHG’s no doubt by these activities the women are gaining knowledge of supreme spirit. At the present time the organization conducting training to the villagers an vegetable production, SHG’s management and their record keeping, capital formation husbandry, sewing & cutting & communicational aspect by these training programme 1570 people benefited. By the watershed development programme at Palamau district 6 units working (6 Lift irrigation system, 7 Ahars, 5 Ponds & Land leveling on 30 Hcs.). By these programme 1500 Acs. Land get irrigated and 3247 people benefited. The prototype progrmme of welfare department is acting to promote irrigation system by 20 lift irrigation system, 10 Ahars, 10 Utthala Well & 10 Bari well; horticulture at 60 Acs. Land leveling on 50 Acs. By these programme above 740 people benefited and they get (2000-3000) Rs. Income per month. It is a formidable task for an organization, which is a not for profit organization and working for the promotion of the poor women’s community based organization. At the current session the organization not only fully prepared to meet the challenge of its own sustenance but also prepared itself more ambitious agenda. It is a credible resources organization at Palamau and have invested considerable amount of time and resource for developing new streadgy. Conclusively it is fact that the woman comes together and they host national flag in national festival in Naxal affected area.
