AchieveMents: MAULANA AZAD YOUTH CLUB (previously known as AZAD YOUTH CLUB) is a registered non govt. organization vide registration no.2796-195 of 1991-92 dt.19/12/1991.in order to fulfill its aims and objectives, it is engaged itself in various social welfare activities since its inception. The various programmes undertaken by the club in the previous years is highlighted in nutshell.
1.The central govt. has launched various scholarship for the minority students in order to uplift the community to the mainstream. These are pre metric minority scholarship for class I-X, post metric minority scholarship & merit cum means scholarship for minority students. This club offers free consultancy service to create awareness and to encourage the students to avail the opportunity of these schemes.
2.The Medha Bruti scholarship program launched by the govt. of Odisha for the student of +2, +3, technical, non-technical and professional course. This organization offers free consultancy service to the above category of students. By this way 220 students of Puri and Khordha dist get benefitted by this organizationââ¬â¢s free consultancy service.
3.The organization observes its annual day on 31st Dec each year. On the eve of this day it organizes competition examination for the students from class 3 to +3.The competitive questions are of multiple type on arithmetic, mathematics, science, social studies, environmental studies, language and reasoning. Apart from this drawing and essay competition and annual athletic meets are also organizes in every year and awarded to Mauritius students.
4.The state level musha-e-ra programme is organized in the year 2013-2014, 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 to preserve the Urdu culture in the area with the assistance of ODISHA URDU ACADEMY.
5.Recently the state level Urdu seminar has been organized by Maa Gajalaxmi Youth social organization in association with Maulana Azad Youth Club on 31st July 2016 at Mangala Mahavidlaya Kakatpur. This program was funded by NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR PROMOTION OF URDU LANGUAGE, NEWDELHI.
6.This organization observes national celebrations to commemorate the contribution of our leaders to understand the present problem of our country and also organized free health checkup camp and awareness program.
7.The organization organized tree plantation programe in road side from Azampur to Bhandaghar in the range of 3 km in the year 2013-14.
8.Cultural programs like Eid-Milan, Quali and cultural programs are organized by this organization to unite the various community in a single platform.
In the concluding stanza it is said that this organization engages itself for the upliftment of various community in general and minority in particular. Most of the community based activities are organized by this organization. The most important area of operation for the organization is educational and cultural development.
