AchieveMents: PERCUSSIVE ARTS CENTRE was founded by Ghatam Vidwan Late Sangeetha Kalarathna Bangalore K. Venkataram on the Vijayadasami day in 1981 and was registered on 30 July 1985 as Percussive Arts Centre Palghat Mani Iyer Memorial Arts Centre with a perspective of promoting better awareness of percussive arts among music lovers. The activities of the Arts Centre include organizing annually Thaalavaadyothsav the percussive arts festival, seminars, symposium, video recordings of great maestros etc.
