AchieveMents: Pratibimb is a platform for social, cultural and literary activities part from being a reflection of the young mind set. With this outlook a team of young adults from Allahabad at the occasion of Munshi Premchandââ¬â¢s birth anniversary laid the foundation of the group on 31 July 2013, when they adapted one of his stories Gharjamai, in a stage performance.
On 25/01/2014 the organisation registered itself under the Society Registration by Act no. 21,860 with registration number -1219/2013-2014.
The society has been active in the field of theatre since its inception on 31 July 2013, in the foremost city of Allahabad in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Besides, Allahabad Pratibimb has been a part of several theatrical festivals across the state of Uttar Pradesh in cities like ââ¬â Lucknow, Barelli, Urai, Siddharth nagar and others, and has won several accolades for its performances. The society in the year 2015 magnificently presented its play Postmortem at the Regional Theatre Festival in Urai district organised by Sangeet Natya Academy, Lucknow. When the foundation of any institution however, small or big, is strong it can face any difficulty head on. Generally this strength lies in the financial stability of organisation, but Pratibimb is not a financially driven group and its strength is based on mutual trust, youthful creativity and synergy and talent at par with any and all standards set by international theatrical institutions. Based on this strength the society has till now (December, 2016) has conceived and performed 14 plays and is driven towards taking all its theatrical presentations to every region of the country.
