AchieveMents: The one and only Buddhist Organization in Birbhum District in the State of West Bengal working for preservation and restoration of Buddhist Culture and Art by propagation of Buddhism for the sake of mankind. Mission s Present Religious and Cultural Activities: 1. Provide free residual facility for students of Higher Buddhist Studies at Viswabharati University, Santiniketan. 2. Provide free Atish Dipankar Library for students and all other local residents. 3. Organize of Vippassana Meditation Camp. 4. Organize of Traditional Buddhist Occasions through out the year. The organization is also working for social up liftment of tribal, poor and distressed people at its jurisdiction by organizing various social welfare activities through out the year. Mission s Present Social Welfare Activities : 1.Running of Sabitri Pal Charitable Dispensary to provide Medical facilities by free Medical Check up and free Distribution of Medicines by the eminent Doctors of Kolkata and abroad. 2. Running of Bhabananda Sweing Training Centre to provide self employment. 3.Distribution of clothings and other basic amenities amongst the local tribal, poor and distressed people through out the year. Mission s forthcoming dream projects: 1. Construction of Bhikkhu(Monk), Bhikkhuni(Nun) Training Centre to establish the Organization as a Centre of Excellence for Buddhist Culture and Art. 2. Construction of Old Aged Home. 3. Construction of a 10 Bedded Hospital for Women and Child.
