Anti cancer plants like Turmeric, Catharanthys, Azadiracta Indica, Murrya Species were collected from different parts of Maharashtra and checked for the presence of fungal endophytes using Foldscope. Further work was extended for the biochemical analysis of the fungi for their efficacy to produce different anti cancer chemicals.

The developed method can be used for reforestation of hilly barren land of low rain fall area and conservation of endangered medicinally important tree species.
