Project progressed with identified 50 Women SHGs. Some Ten Thousands were adopted and nurtured in-situ.

The project is progressing well with about 25 thousands plants of usable NTFP species adopted and nurtured in the two project districts. The SHGs have been empowered to negotiate with traders about remunerative prices. Household income is gradually increasing. There is need to upscale this work so that more area could be covered. M P Forest department been approached to take up work in other areas also.
