AchieveMents: Society for Universal Welfare and Progress is a philanthropic institution being engaged with multifaceted community developmental activities in various paradigms of social service sectors at the grass roots level. As far as its activities are concerned, the organization is conducting a Family Counselling Centre at Siliguri Special Correctional Home, in West Bengal. The programme is a sponsored project of Central Social Welfare Board, New Delhi. Besides the above, the organization is also actively involved in mother, child care, immunization, literacy expansion programmes. In addition, amongst all other activities, mentionable are: women liberation movements, SHG activities with micro-credit movements, L.I.C.I. Micro insurance social security activities, community capacity building training, agriculture through organic mode, community sensitization, Research and developmental programmes and Value form cultural and sporting events.
