AchieveMents: south orissa voluntary action is a non government organisation working in the district of koraput the organisation works for the poor and marginalised community in this tribal belt of koraput since inception the organisation tries to provide basic health quality education sustainable livelihood and child rights and protection to the community members to ensure a descent life to the weaker section of the society south orissa voluntary action through its health intervention program strengthens the counselling quality of the frontline workers through training looking at the low literacy level of the area and high school absentism of children south Orissa voluntary action has developed many multilingual education tools and tlm to cater to the learning outcome of the children on livelihood it works on increasing the annual income of the poorest of the poor families through different igp the organisation also manages an open shelter and astha children home to mainstream the children in need of care and support in educational institutions and family south orissa voluntary action also runs by childline program to restore the vulnerable children through child protection units and child welfare committee
