Organised and conducted dozens of expeditions to the Himalaya in which several peaks have been climbed. Organised, talks, seminars and film festivals to increase knowledge and encourage people to go to the Himalaya. Have a huge collection of books on the Himalaya. Instituted awards for Literature on the Himalaya and for excellence in Mountaineering and recognition of outstanding support staff.
