AchieveMents: The organisation had conducted 5 days training and awareness programme on SHGs at Organisation Training Hall. The main objective of the training is to improve the role of the leaders of women Self Help Group and to develop activity of book keeping and accountancy knowledge among the Secretary, President and treasurer respectively. Altogether 35 women leaders were participated in the said programme. The organisation had organised 5 days Family Counselling Programme. Resource from the concerned Department had provided their valuable support in this programme. The Programme was successfully conducted. In order to upgrade the modern technique and skill, the Organisation has conducted a three month Handloom and Handicraft cum Production at Imphal West District in 2015. During the training programme skill trainer from Concerned Department demonstrated with modern tools and equipment and designs. The programme was participated by 30 women from the area and distributed training materials and training by products and finished products are of the income source of the organisation. A one day workshop on Women and Child labour Welfare Programme has been conducted on the importance of food and nutrition for pregnant women at the premises of the association on 2014. About 85 participants including community leaders and students took part in the programme. IEC and other related leaflet publish by the Forest and Environment was also distributed to the participants. Two days Handicapped Women and Child Welfare Programme were organised at Thangmeiband Yumnam Leikai, Imphal West District. Resource from concerned Department had provided their valuable support in this programme. Free health check-up and medicines were mobilized from the Medical Representatives and 84 patients were benefited from this programme. To advance and facilitate the rural students in bringing quality education in the state the organisation organised a Library awareness Programme. The programme entertained students from Class 5-12 and above. 12 committed professional teachers conducted the campaign of which the teachers volunteered to render their services during the programme. The organisation conducted a programme by engaging 2 resource persons on the theme of Adult Education to the Women Labourer about the concept of reading and writing and calculating arithmetic method.40 students were choosen from economically backwards families benefited from the said training programme.
